Just testing out a new theme for this photo blog that really needs to stop being dormant. 

Saint Paul Municipal Elevator

It has been a while since I've captured the old Saint Paul Municipal Elevator. Actually, it's been a really long times since I've posted on my photo blog. I was bored, it felt like a chore, lost interest, no time. Take your pick, but it's a combination of all of those. 

Anyway, the last time I posted a photo of the tower, it was unpainted, falling apart, and looked like it should be torn down. Today it is restored, at least on the outside, and connects to the City House building. When we first were here, it was called the Red River Kitchen, but it is under new management and I would guess the name change. We love coming here for food, drinks and a walk along the Mississippi River and you would as well.

Sundown Delight

Some days we get a beautiful sky with our scenic pictures, some days we get an amazing sky. Today was amazing.

Gooseberry Falls

Gooseberry Falls was amazing, it was my first visit to the Falls. There are three different areas to the falls, this is the upper section.

View From Below

We only had ten minutes to view the Split Rock Lighthouse in Two Harbors off of Lake Superior before the park closed. So we went to the scenic spot for photos, just as the sun was setting. We were treated to an amazing sky, colors, lighting, and view.

Duluth Lift Bridge At Night

We came back to the Duluth Lift Bridge the next night. A lot less wind, about 35 F degrees, and calmer waters.

The often photographed, Duluth Lift Bridge. The most amazing part about this photo is the lack of people in the shot.

An Apple A Day

This squirrel was quite protective of his find. Not to mention my amusement trying to get a picture of the little fella.

Orange Triangle Delight

The last time I was under the Hastings Bridge, the orange triangles were not installed. I like that there are so many of them.

Downtown In Hastings

Downtown Hastings has this row of buildings with a lot of character. I believe I photograph it every time I am here.
