This doorway is on the side of First Avenue music night club, which hosts various musical artist, plus a few other activities. First Avenue was featured in my June 11, 2006 daily photo. The entire outside of the building features the stars with the artists and bands that have performed previously at First Avenue.

Door and wall are great. What is in front of it in red, is it a parking meter?

Steve Cuddihy said...

yes a parking meter. I didn't realize the photo was so out of focus when I took the shot, the sun was too bright to see the display, otherwise you could read that it actually says 'no parking' on the red bag over the meter.

If is interesting how many doorways posted have lead to art venues. Good choice.

That's the first night club I've seen that you "see stars" before going in, instead of when coming out after a long night drinking!

Very groovy.

Super shot! Denton's observation is right; your's is the 5th doorway to a venue of some sort that I've noticed today. Michael just cracks me up! I love the concept and the colors. Kudos!
