Gopher Women's Basketball
We were at the Gopher Women's Basketball game this past Sunday. They took on the Fighting Illini of Illinois. The Gophers were defeated 70-57. I would guess it's been about ten years since I was last in Williams Arena and certainly did miss watching games in person. Will definitely need to make a return visit this season.

Gopher To Badger Half Marathon
The name of the race, for those not familiar with the Gopher and Badger. Those are college mascot names. The race starts in Minnesota and finishes in Wisconsin. The mascot names are for the two Big Ten schools accordingly.

Minnesota Gopher Stadium
The new Gopher Stadium finally built back on campus seats 50,805 and is horseshoe in design. There is room for future expansion to bring the total seating capacity to 80,000 seats. I'm unsure where the expansion would take place to raise the number of seats. Easily they could remove the horseshoe shape and complete the oval, but is that the expansion they are talking about or is there a much simpler option that I'm not seeing?
