Cottage Grove Wolfpack Football

Last Friday, the Wolfpack of Cottage Grove played host to rival city Woodbury Royals [the city directly to the north]. Despite the Wolfpack leading at halftime 21-10, they couldn't hold off the Royals in the second half and lost, 22-21. My son plays his first football game tomorrow morning, he's in 3rd grade football. The boys on the team are encouraged to attend the varsity team play on Friday nights. So last Friday was the first high school football game I had been to in 20 years. The school pride by both schools was a bit over the top for me, but again, it's been a while since I had gone to a high school game.

I've been wondering when someone was going to post a high school football game from the states! I would have but haven't been to any yet.

Thanks for commenting on my blog.

I used to go to a lot of football games in college. I loved the tailgate party a lot more than the games. :-)

Love the panaromic photo.

Go Royals! (Sorry, class of '84...) Nice photo, and good memories!

Looks like fun to me. I'm like you -- it's been at least 20 years since I've seen one.

Yes, memories, we did the soccer, rather, football, matches with our son, got around the whole district then. Didn't ever see clouds such as those mysterous ones yesterday.
