Downtown Hastings has this row of buildings with a lot of character. I believe I photograph it every time I am here.
I've always liked the contrasting building materials, reminds me of the political scene at times.
Love the tops of this building in downtown Minneapolis. I'm sure the details are often overlooked, but they were quite creative back in the day.
I believe this is officially the Main Entrance to the Minnesota History Center. It's adjacent to the street. However, parking is on the other side of the the building. So if I were to guess, most visitors enter from different doors.
I've posted a similar photo of the St Paul Cathedral a few years ago, actually over four years ago. I was around the area again, photographing the surroundings, and couldn't pass the opportunity of this photo. Seeing the group of people, pointing and looking up at the facade, really made this one stand out too me.

I believe this used to be an entrance to a hotel in Hastings, but today the building is being used as a beauty school.
If it wasn't for the engraving in the stones, you'd never know this used to be the Hastings Bank Building.
I'm not sure which building this is in Winona, but I really like all of the odd shapes, curves, lines and windows this corner building has.
From this distance, I cannot tell if the bricks are painted white or if they are two different colors of brick. Either way, I like the contrasting colors between the two.
