Thunderstorm Wall Cloud

If I had a wider camera lens, it would have told a bigger story. However, trust me that this was one impressive looking wall cloud.

The Scenic 10th Hole

It reminds me of the old Windows XP wallpaper that we all used to look at. A very scenic 10th green nonetheless.

The Royal Club

I had a sore shoulder to begin the work week, but I left work early Friday to play18 holes at The Royal Club in Lake Elmo with my local group of friends. On the 8th hole, I tweaked my shoulder, then played the 9th in pain. So I decided to start taking photos, instead of golfing the back nine. Sore shoulder and all, it was still much better than being at work.

Stillwater Lift Bridge's New Assignment

If you've lived in anywhere near the Stillwater Lift Bridge, you must have driven over this bridge at least once. Since the new bridge, down the river opened, this was my first time walking across the iconic bridge.

Green Stripe

The crops are planted, the rows are aligned. This strip of green really stood out among the fields.

Morning Dew

I was trying to capture the morning dew the other day as it looked very interesting. The tops of the blades of grass all had a drop of moisture resting on the top of it. The sunlight reflecting off it made it shine enough to catch my interest. Not sure if I capture it right or what I could do to improve a shot like this. Perhaps a smaller area?

Just Ducky

Captured these ducks this summer on the hottest and most humid day of the summer. In fact, it was the most humid day that I can ever recall from these parts. I'm unsure if these ducks were enjoying the heat, but this swampy looking land was a flooded out area near the Mississippi River. We had received quite a bit of rain a few day prior to this photo.

The Big Green Caterpillar

This big green caterpillar will morph into a big brown moth. The bright green is surprising, not to mention the size of the big green bug. This big green caterpillar will morph into a big brown moth. The bright green is surprising, not to mention the size of the big green bug. With camera in hand, swc was able to capture this contribution photo. I've found a site that shows what this caterpillar will turn into for those interested in more of the story.

Caught In A Web

We've had quite a bit of rain lately in the Twin Cities. I captured today's macro shot shortly after a more rain passed through my area. These are water droplets caught in a spider web.
